This moisturiser uses only non-irritating ingredients, which are gentle enough for your sensitive skin as well as those with eczema and dermatitis. It will help to reduce inflammation, redness and dry skin. It contains Quandong berry, which is a powerful antihistamine. It has butters and oils to help restore moisture to the skin, which is extremely beneficial as dryness can lead to aggravation in the skin. Vitamin E also hydrates and prevents moisture from escaping, leaving your skin soft and supple.
The definition of self-improvement is pretty self-explanatory: Self-improvement is the improvement of one's knowledge, status, or character by one's own efforts. It's the quest to make ourselves better in any and every facet of life. What do you really want out of life? Is it a higher rank in the workplace, a more loving relationship or your own successful business?
Tony Robbins - is an American author, coach and motivational speaker - explains that humans are wired to want to “do better” because in the past this led to a stronger chance of survival. That’s why growth is so addictive.
No matter what you’re pursuing, self-improvement is a critical part of your progress and happiness.
To learn how to self-improve, you need to find direction. You can do that by creating clear, actionable goals as part of a self-improvement plan. And that’s where self-improvement podcasts come in.
Self-improvement podcasts are a miraculous passage into the world of your highest, wisest self. And getting hooked on the most empowering, inspiring and enlightening ones will put you on the fastest track possible. So, we’ve put together a few (in no particular order) of the best self-improvement podcasts out there — ones that will keep you on the edge of your seat and becoming your best self more and more every single day.
Smudging is one of the oldest and easiest cleansing methods. Smudging is done by burning white sage bundles.
The smoke is believed to bless spaces by clearing out negative emotions like anger, stress or tension lingering after an event or harmful energies left by people who visited your house.
Get to smudging! Start by opening a window in the room you are working in for ventilation and so all of the unwanted energy has a way to exit the room. Now gather your smudge of choice, tilt the stick or sage bundle away from your body and light the tip. Once the tip is lit, move the smudge in a circular motion so the flame fully lights the whole tip. If you do not have a feather : Grab your abalone shell and hold it underneath the now lit stick/bundle. While holding the slowly burning smudge move your arm around the room as though you’re holding a wand , allow the smoke to move into all of the rooms corners, doorways and objects.
If you have a feather, after lighting your smudge place it into the middle of the abalone shell and let it burn on it’s own. In your other hand grab the feather and begin to fan the smoke out and around the room until the desire area has been completed.
While you smudge, recite affirmations or speak love, light and positive energy into your space. Give yourself permission to release all the energy you feel in and around that is no longer serving you. Once you have completed your session, you will want to put your stick/sage out in the ashtray, and allow your space to air out shortly before closing the window. Repeat this practice whenever you feel the need to clear the air or to simply be present.
Have you ever walked into a space in your house and suddenly felt down, depressed or just a heavy unexplainable feeling? When it’s time to leave, you walk out and begin to feel back to normal again. There may be a corner in your home that feels dark; perhaps every time you sit there, you feel exhausted. Every space holds energy – both positive and negative. Such energies cannot be seen, but can be sensed. They tend to seep into spaces. How do you invite positive energy into your home?
While multitasking is often thought to be an added skill, it tends to cause more harm than good. Focusing on one task at a time is more effective than having a pile of tasks to do. Researchers argue that you are more poised to increase your productivity by boosting your focus and avoiding multitasking. In a blog post on the Harvard Business Review, the University of Bergen published findings that men and women are “equally bad” at multitasking.
It’s something that, in the past, many leaders have prioritised when hiring employees - after all, getting the most out of their working hours is good for business. But over the years, it’s become clearer that it’s not only impossible to multitask in the way we’ve come to understand it (tackling several tasks at the same time), it’s also detrimental to our health to attempt to do so.
Cited on Inc.com, MIT neuroscientist Earl Miller explained that our brains “are not wired to multitask well… when people think they’re multitasking, they’re actually just switching from one task to another very rapidly. And every time they do, there’s a cognitive cost.” Between being constantly contactable by email and phone, having overloaded work schedules and attempting to concentrate for longer than we’re actually able to, many of us end up trying to juggle several things at once as a way of coping. All that happens, though, is we end up not actually being able to complete anything to the best of our ability because our attention is scattered.

Arts can act as a supportive and enrichment measure when thinking about mental wellbeing. The link between the arts and health and well-being goes back many years. In fact, the use of the arts in health has been increasing for the past thirty years. You don’t need to be an “artist” or a professional crafts person to benefit from art. A person can get benefits from either performing the art her/himself or just by being the viewer and watching art that someone else has made.
The act of being creative is the key, and it can help decrease everyday stress and anxiety. Over the past decade, health psychologists have cautiously begun looking at how the arts might be used in a variety of ways to heal emotional injuries, increase understanding of oneself and others, develop a capacity for self-reflection, reduce symptoms, and alter behaviors and thinking patterns. Given the ubiquity of creative expression, as well as the relative ease of engagement, the extent to which psychological and physiological effects are sustainably health enhancing is an important area for public health investigation.
As Stuckey and Nobel stated in their research, participating in the arts can also help with depression, increase positive emotions and, in some cases, even improve immune system functioning.

I like to think of our minds as gardens. When we are constantly taking care of our minds with the right thoughts, we eliminate any weeds (negative thoughts) that try to grow in our gardens. When we feed our minds with the right things, we give our focus to positivity and our goals and dreams.
Think about this for a moment. When you encounter something negative, does your mind become sucked into that energy that it might throw off your whole mood, and even affect your day? I know it has for me, which is why I am so careful with where I am investing my mental energy.
Therefore, if negative energy comes your way, immediately ignore it so that you don’t give it the attention it wants to possibly grow into a bigger issue. The next time a negative thought tries to enter your conscious, ask yourself “Is this really worth my mental energy?” If not, dismiss it, and immediately replace it with a positive thought that resonates with your dreams and goals.
When trying to change your diet, or eat healthier, it is very easy to get bored with your chosen meal plan. No matter what your fitness goals may be in 2021, a healthy diet is crucial to achieving these goals. The typical healthy diet consists of increased protein intake, complex carbs, and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. When following this type of diet plan, meal options can become very simple, and oftentimes, people get bored of eating the same dish over and over again. This boredom with your diet is often what leads to cravings, and eventually straying from your diet plan and fitness goals.
